Just returned from Y Hope TP Unit Training Camp! "Breaking the 50 Codes"
K... A great camp. Thank God for that semi-detached house... Cheap place to rent for 3 days... Ha...
1st Day
Met at Serangoon Central. Went camp venue. Spring cleaned house!!! The water literally became black when we dipped the mop inside the pail of water. Opening. Had teachings and games and went outside to eat. Cool memories... The dogs that barked non-stop... The slope so steep every time we travelled to go and makan... Jasmine Poon's visit to our camp at night... She talked about giving our gifts to God for Christmas... Some jokes... (elegant aunty, Ah Bee... etc)
2nd Day
On the 1st day, not really all slept. Many of us, especially the guys, stayed awake... Talked... and talked... and talked... Think the new believers really benefit alot in this camp. The night was really cooold~ The girls slept in the teaching room. The guys, outside the teaching room, some space there anyway. When everyone’s awake, we had breakfast… PnW… Teachings… Games… What touched many of us was the night, when Nel invited a response from everyone for the vision we have individually. Really thank God for all the teachers in this camp (Some of us consider them "cheong hei", also long breathe in cantones, or naggy). God moves in such a simple yet miraculous way in everyone’s life.
3rd Day
This time, all of us could sleep at night, cos we’re really tired…. Basically, it’s today… We had the SOW class, strategy time, Pnw, then we packed up and cleaned up the place. Off we come home sweet home!
Now, I do not wanna repeat my past mistakes. I really wanna see the vision that God placed in me to come to pass. As such, I will wanna live in His purpose… Much to say, but I won’t be able to type down all my thoughts. 2 things I personally responded: Dilligence and Leadership to TP1.
Here’s my vision for this Christmas gift for my Saviour (TP1):
1 new believer by end November 2004
15 people coming for service in Christmas service 2004
