A character drew my attention. Jephthah. He was of lousy background. His mum was a prostitue and not the first wife of his father. So when his father's children grew up, his father and the legitimate wife and family threw him out of the family. He settled peacefully else where. Basically, he was de-valued, discriminated and mistreated.
However, God had given him a gift that he was a great warrior. Then, when trouble time came, the elders of Israelites sought him to fight against the enemies, Ammonites. He agreed and fought. This was the will of God, even though Jephthat's heart was not totally pure.

All the judges chosen by God in the times of Judges were men almost unexpected. They were the unexpected heroes. They were people with great flaws and weaknesses. Yet, God chose them and used them, even through their weaknesses and sinful acts.
God will use me too.
