Yesterday. School. CCN Day. Festival of Praise (FOP).

I wanna talk about FOP. First time, I went for FOP at indoor stadium. It was full house! I was with some TP people. We sat behind the stage, at the upper seatings. To some people, it's one of the worst location; to me, it's one of the best! I could see everything that happened on the stage and see what the stage ministers see on the stage angle!

Maybe God helped me. I had wanted to go FOP to worship and renew myself, and also to learn how the stage ministers work. Of course the atmosphere was high! I enjoyed myself... Too many destails... Hmm...

About the preacher, Colin Dye, from UK. He talked about Apostolic Faith. In his preaching, he used Moses.... Exodus 33... 1 thing I remember and will keep in mind is that we shouldn't be dominated by our feelings, but God created us to be able to experience feelings! And when God asked Moses to take off his sandals at the burning bush, He was telling Moses that that is the holy ground. That is where God is. That is where Moses should have nothing in between him and God in contact, even the sandals on Moses feet! Still, I am awed by the Word the preacher talked about at the end of his preaching. He said that Moses stood the test when God spoke to him face to face in the tent of meeting. Moses understood when he replied God, "Please, show me YOUR glory." Glory. Amen. Moses understood when he would rather have God and nothing else than having everything else but God. Instead, God was pleased with Moses' choice, and blessed him with His presence along with His promises and everything!

If I have everything but God, I have nothing; if I have God, I have everything.

About the stage. Hillsongs and Delirious! were present at FOP. Yea... I tried to observe the stage arrangement. Fallback, TV with lyrics, arrangement of choir, arrangement of instruments, arrangement of the sound system, lightings on top, screens with lyrics... Singers used condensed mikes. Lead worshipers sometimes used head mikes.

I tried to observe the musicians, particularly the electric guitarists. Hillsongs used 1 bassist, 1 rythmn guitarist, 1 lead guitarist, 2 keboardists, 1 drummer, 4 parts support singers, and 1 female lead worshipper. Delirious! used 1 bassist, 1 lead guitarist, 1 keyboardist, 1 ldrummer, and 1 male lead worshipper who also plays acoustic guitar sometimes.

There's this thing placed on the floor for the lead guitarist to step on to change effects and adjust volumn. It looks very different from the one in our church. I wonder what is it. I heard harmonics. I heard scales. I heard effects. I heard grooves and rythmns. I saw dancing and singing. I saw hands lifted up and knees on the ground. I heard silence and flow.

I must quickly bursh up my skills and make myself ready, so that when the chance time come, I can be ready! I must tell myself that it is not impossible. It is not as unachievable. It is achievable! Speed, quality, accuracy, rythmn, groove, feel... When no one is looking, except for His eyes that never take off me, I am working very hard to improve. I need Your anointing, so that I will have breakthrough!

Ok.... FOP... Revival.
