Good day.
I trade today's morning swimming plan with more QT, planning, and packing time, not to mention more time to learn music.

It's funny that I woke up asking God what should I do when I already planned my day. Then, God told me to blog down something... I'm serious! April fool's yesterday, ok...
=.=

Here I go...
On Friday, I went TM to shop for my new specs, watch, and 2 new polo-T... On my way to TM, at the entrance of MRT, I saw Kim and Mabel walking together! I was so excited I called Mab and tried to jump... lolx. But they had walked through the control station and missed me. Ha... What an encounter. Mabel feels like an old friend to me. Somehow, God placed in me a heart so happy everytime I encounter Mabel. I know... and I hope... and I wanna beleieve that God's grace will bring us all to Heaven.

O how I look forward to Heaven.

I saw a nick on msn that says "I will NEVER get married". So, out of curosity, I asked the person, "y u dun wanna get married?" Then our conversation on the topic (imperfection) carried on a little more...

"I'm afraid of relationships"

"May i noe wad makes u afraid of r/s?"

"I want perfection n i cant accept imperfection. But i noe perfection is an illusion, so i rather hav nothing."

"How abt this offer: since u noe perfection is best, but imperfection is always exisiting, y not go forward to perfection admist imperfection instead of giving up everything n end up wif total imperfection?

"Total imperfection n 'partial' imperfection is still imperfection"

"I dunno abt u, but i noe this... when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears... how shld i put it... if one can say tt smth' is imperfect, it means tt smth' is being compared to wad is considered perfect. If not, how can anything be considered imperfect, correct? Since one can view wad is imperfect, it means tt one 'consciously or subconsciously' believes/noes tt a perfection exists."

"To me nth is perfect. Wad i call it as DIS-contentment, n i noe i'm inflexible"

And so, the conversation somehow ended later on... However, it set me pondering upon this topic of imperfection and perfection... Then during sermon, suddenly God spoke to me something that I find it pleasing to just put it here.

Look, even the imperfects know perfection, that is us mankind. To understand perfection and think whatever is imperfect means comparing to a certain standard. To what kind of standard are we comparing? I know of a standard that once fallen short, will be considered imperfect.

Why go towards nothing or anything lesser than perfection when we can choose to go towards perfection? It is true that to go against what is lesser for what is best takes more power. See, there is a higher power to help!

How can it be that nothing is perfect and perfection is just an illusion? If that is true, then what is God, Heaven, and His promises for? It is for perfection that mankind has always wanted. Man tries all knds of standard and thought it's the perfection standard, failed. When will we realise that the only standard has been laid is in the perfect Creator's way?

Faith is not perception. One may percieve perfection in many forms, but faith in perfection is acknowledging the true (maybe even then we still cannot comprehend the exact meaning of pefection) meaning of perfection and believing that perfection is possible and exisiting. This, in turn, will influence our perception to live differently.

I believe in perfection in this imperfect world. I believe that sin is the cause and imperfection is the effect. But that does not diminish a single bit that perfection exists. A glimpse of Heaven on earth is here! Eternity can prove perfection!

In fact, perfection is in us! When we opened our hearts to let the Holy Spirit come in and overflow in us, it happened! Isn't the Spirit perfect? And it lives in us! Can you feel it? The perfect power is in us! We can tap on that power to go against the current of imperfection towards perfection! It's no illusion at all!

Ultimately, a relationship whould be vertical and horizontal, with God, with man. Security is a relationship that is built upon the truth will always prevail.

For Mabel, readers, and myself,
Perfection is with us, that is God.

For Gabriel, my bro-in-Christ,
As we are faithful, God expects us to be fruitful!
