Morning! Tomorrow booking in to do some NSF committment survey thingy.. Don't really like going back to camp, but what does it matter. While I'm here, I'll still do my best to enjoy and live! Yea!
I literally jumped out of bed today. A sudden inspiration surged within my mind. Immediately, I grabbed my journal to write down my thoughts. Washed up. Breakfast. Another inspiration, I quickly sms-ed a friend, regarding her desire to sing. Talk about crossroads, huh.
Here's an excerpt of what I scribbled in my latest journal entry:
"The problem in the church nowadays is that there are too many people who are talented using their talents in the world than in the church."
When I thought of that, I was thinking of a friend who is DJ-ing... A friend who used to serve so fervently with us.. He'll be back, right, Dad?
What I didn't mean is that we shouldn't use our talents in the world; what I mean is that we should use our talent through the church! You feel me?
"If you ask an eagle to swim instead of soaring, if you ask a rabbit to climb instead of running, you are asking them to be who they are not. You will be depriving them of their potential and their true identity.
One of the worst moves in an organization is placing a wrong person in a wrong place/position. This is detrimental."
