Trust and Timing

-listening to Beautiful Seed-

This is me-now to me-in-the-future.

Since after I read what John and Stasi Elderedge wrote together, I made a plan to buy that book for someone.

Saturday came. After service, during dinner time, I walked to PS Trumpet Praise to purchase it. When I returned, I could still have dinner and spend time with my brothers. :)

I sms-ed. Slow reply. Vague answer. I sms-ed again. No reply.

Ritchie told me he'ld treat me to dinner and the trip home in cab if I go for Resident Evil 3. I made a decision to decline the good offer. What was I thinking? Tomorrow's Combined Team rally would require me to be fresh. I would want to rest earlier tonight. Anyway, JonLee, Joel, and Gabriel not going.

I had an objective: to pass the book.

Watch how His fingerprints trailed in my paths...

I declined movie.
I stayed with Mark and Eilton at S11 to chat about BMT stuff.
I followed them to Meridien to find some others.
I declined joining them for 豆花。

It happened that Ker was with them and she's going home too. She said that she'ld take bus 65 home. Suddenly she changed her mind to take MRT home. EAST line.

So we went down Douby Ghaut MRT. A missed call from Jol to Ker. Ker called back.

Jol and XiuZhen appeared. Rebound trip. I chatted quite an amount with XiuZhen regarding her missions trip.

CityHall. Jol, Ker, me. Saw Jol's elder sis with her friend. ><

Casual talk all the way. Tanah Merah. "This is for you." I passed the book. Objective met.

Funny how He works.

(I remember many other little details, but I think I won't type anymore. It's ok to forget. Maybe these memories would pop up somewhere in future.)

I wonder if it's 1 star or 2 stars on that necklace?

I gave that book 'cos I want her to read it. :)
