What have I been doing last week till now?
Let's just say I have been busy and become 'obsessed' with the attempt to do up a blog for my CG. Here's the link to the blog. In future, we may change the blog name, and the link may well be not working anymore.
If I were to recall, I have been meddling a lot with my MacBook.
I have been doing my CG blog, and my blog. I keep messing with the template and the layout. Never in my life have I explored html as much as I do now, not even when I did Dreamweaver in my Poly time.
Since I owned a MacBook, I might as well utilize it to the fullest. For the first time, I brought it out with me for use. I typed in the Shepherding teachings and because there are many pages, apart from the fact that I am 'lazy' and trying to be environmental-friendly, I referred to it when I shepherded Roy on last Thursday at a KFC in Tampines.
I tried to be disciplined in practicing guitar. Last Sunday, I finally received the songs that I would be playing with the band for the Campus Transmission event. The event was meant to be held yesterday, but due to various reasons, it's cancelled. Quite a disappointment for some people. The main reason the organizers gave was that the number of confirmed visitors was too little by last Wednesday night. I got the sms from Lancaster while I was watching Arts Central on Wednesday night too.
I had been practicing the songs before the news, though.
Besides that, I have been practicing on the songs Justin taught me.
Ah well, God knows I did my best. I'll take that as a learning experience too. Actually, I felt joyful, simply because I have done my best already.
Some miscellaneous things I've done last week are:
- Reading books. I am reading Ezekial - Bible, "How to Make Music In Your Bedroom", and "ProBlogger Secrets for Blogging Your Way to a Six-Figure Income". It is the first time I shopped online. "ProBlogger" came through Amazon to me. interesting.
- Swimming.
- Picking up bits of knowledge from forums I visit sometimes. You know, sometimes when you face certain problems in the software and services you use you can go to the related forums to ask around. I think I have become slightly more 'savvy in being a geek'.
